    Leon's Law - Acknowledgement (CE)

Why Am I Signing This Form?
Leon’s Law (NC) requires community colleges to share education records for students under age 18 with their parents or guardians, and if you are dually enrolled in high school and college courses, with your high school.

What Does This Mean for Me?
Your parent/guardian and your high school will have access to your grades, schedule, and other educational records. This ensures that important adults in your life can support your progress in your college courses and help you achieve your goals. This access ends when you turn 18 or are no longer claimed as a dependent.
